Bluebird Theater, Rock and Pop
The Bluebird Theater is an antique theater that welcoming indie rock, alt-country, rockabilly and punk.
The Venue The art deco structure is elegant and intimate, with tons of retro design
touches and a modest maximum capacity. As a result, visitors enjoy
upper-class, up-close views of acts other major cities host in huge
rooms.
The Experience The Bluebird's menu of national
and local talent leans toward gritty rock and roll, swing and 'billy
bands and insurgent country stuff. Slim Cessna and Space Team Electra
are two of the biggest-drawing local regulars. The touring list
stretches from Gatemouth Brown and Junior Brown to Sleater-Kinney, the
Supersuckers and beyond. The house also features good sound, a
reasonable dance floor and a hustling staff of servers and bartenders.

Gothic Theatre
The Gothic Theatre was built in the roaring twenties when movies theatres were the social place to be! The Gothic was the first theatre in the area to show talking movies. Over the years and through the hands of multiple owners, the Gothic has transformed on the inside and out while still retaining this internal art deco finishes. Although each owner tried to do something different with it, little success was had. In 1998, two friends bought the Gothic and turned it into the successful venue it is today!
The GOTHIC has been completely refurbished and is truly one of a kind!
