Welcome to the EACO program!
The Emerging Artist Community Outreach (EACO) program matches
CU student performers and music education majors with you, an area music director who is looking for performers and clinicians.
It works like this: as an interested educator, you can search our
EACO list and find a suitable individual or group in your area of need. Once your request is submitted via the web form,
the ECM coordinates with your chosen group to facilitate the presentation.
What can this do for you and your program?
We have students who are launching their
professional careers and are looking for ways to gain experience and build their résumé.
You may have an area in your program that could
use some additional expertise, such as if you are a trumpet player who is not as versed in woodwinds as you would
like. The opportunity to have a Senior or Graduate Wind Quintet perform and do a clinic for your students may be
just the boost your students need.
Together, this program helps everyone learn
and improve his or her musical future!
To get started, check out the student artists in the EACO
program HERE. After you have selected two artists, (a primary and an alternate)
please complete the enrollment form below.
Terms and conditions:
The performer(s) you have requested have undergone a training
course to teach them the classroom etiquette and standards expected of them by the sponsoring authority. However,
the ECM, the College of Music, and the University of Colorado at Boulder are not responsible for the content of
the presented program or for the behavior of the presenters.
The ECM acts as a booking agent for these groups and is only
a facilitator to arrange for the engagement. The specific terms, responsibilities, and rights involved are between
the sponsor and the artist.
